Johan Seynaeve, 1962 (BE, Kortrijk) ontwikkelde zijn oeuvre in de jaren tachtig, het decennium waar een ‘honger naar beelden’ heerste, figuratieve beelden, wildgeschilderde doeken. Johan koos resoluut voor een omgekeerde weg naar abstractie, uitzuivering en uniformiteit. Daarmee werkte hij niet in het luchtledige. Johan Seynaeve, 1962 (BE, Kortrijk) developed his oeuvre in the eighties, the decade in which a 'hunger' to images' prevailed, figurative images, wildly painted canvases. Johan chose resolutely for a reverse path to abstraction, purification and uniformity. He worked with that not in a vacuum.
